A day rich in prizemoney, and even richer in history with highlights including the Group 1 $2 million Bentley Australian Derby and the Group 1 The Star Doncaster Mile first run in 1861 and 1866 respectively.
Day 2
– Saturday, 13th April 2024
A day is renowned for its feature race, the Longines Queen Elizabeth Stakes. Prestige, assured legacy and record prize money of $4m will guarantee a world-class field in 2024. Supported by two other Group 1 races (the world’s most prestigious class of racing) the $2 million Schweppes Sydney Cup and the Group 1 $1 million The Star Australian Oaks.
